Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. What We've Done
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Skip-to-main-content link on every page
- Alt text on meaningful images
- ARIA labels on interactive elements, navigation, and form controls
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, menus, forms, and buttons
- Minimum 4.5:1 color contrast on body text (WCAG AA)
- Clear focus indicators on interactive elements
- Responsive design that works at 320px width and up
- Tel-links on every phone number for one-tap calling on mobile devices
- Language attributes declared in HTML for screen readers
Areas of Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is a continuous effort, not a one-time project. Current focus areas:
- Title attributes and fallback content for every IDX Broker iframe
- Text-equivalent alternatives where MLS data appears in widgets
- Improved form error messaging and validation feedback
- Transcription and captioning of any embedded video content
Third-Party Content
Our site incorporates third-party content, including live Multiple Listing Service data via IDX Broker and embedded forms for email and lead capture. While we work to ensure this content is as accessible as possible, some third-party elements may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
